A B2B E-shop for Glass Industry Hardware

Bohle has manufactured glass hardware in Germany since 1923. We built Bohle Baltic a B2B e-shop from scratch, where every customer sees their own contract price after logging in.

Background

Bohle has manufactured hardware for the glass industry in Germany since 1923 — shower systems, sliding door systems, glass railings, locks, vacuum lifters and workshop supplies. Names like MasterTrack, VetroMount, Veribor and Silberschnitt are everyday vocabulary for glass professionals.

Bohle Baltic needed its own e-shop for the Baltic market. But in B2B there is no single price: every customer buys at their contract rate, and those rates must not be public. Off-the-shelf shop platforms handle this poorly.

What we built

We built the whole thing from scratch — the shop, the back office and the catalogue import.

1. B2B pricing

  • Prices are shown only to logged-in customers — public visitors see products, not prices
  • Price rules work per company and per customer group (Standard, Partner, Distributor); the most specific rule wins
  • Customers see their contract price immediately, without having to request a quote

2. Shop and order flow

  • Product groups and catalogue covering the full Bohle range — from shower systems to vacuum lifters
  • Product pages with technical specs, image galleries and downloadable PDF datasheets
  • Cart, checkout and a customer account with order history

3. Back office

Dashboard, products with CSV import, orders, companies and their price rules, content management, media library and users — all under one admin.

4. Automated catalogue import

The Bohle range runs to thousands of articles. We built an importer that pulls product data straight from the Bohle main catalogue: name, article number, the full image gallery, PDF documents, technical specifications and colour variants with their correct article numbers.

Adding a new product line to the shop is now minutes of work instead of days.

5. Trilingual

Estonian, Finnish and English — Baltic and Nordic customers served from one store.

Tech

Go + MySQL backend, Next.js 16 (React 19, Tailwind) frontend, JWT authentication. Pricing logic lives in the backend, not the browser — prices never leak to a visitor who isn't signed in.
